What NASSCO certifications do your inspectors hold?

Every CIT inspector is NASSCO PACP (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program) certified, with MACP (Manhole Assessment) and LACP (Lateral Assessment) coverage for the programs that require them. Each observation in our reports is logged against the certified code and cross-checked by a senior inspector, so asset managers can defend the condition record in capital planning, rate studies, and state reporting.

What diameter range do you inspect and with what equipment?

We run mainline tractors for 6" to 72" pipe, with zoom/pole-camera coverage for large-diameter survey work and compact lateral launchers for 4" to 6" house and commercial services. Crawlers are selected based on pipe diameter, flow conditions, and the specific scope (PACP, MACP, lateral launch, pre-/post-CIPP), so the inspection yields usable condition data instead of just a video file.

Can you perform CCTV inspection in surcharged or live flow conditions?

In most cases yes. We coordinate flow control — partial diversion, plug/pump, or full bypass — based on the hydraulic condition at the manhole and the pipe diameter. For critical trunks we schedule off-peak windows and stage bypass equipment so the inspection captures usable water surface data rather than a drowned camera feed. Live-flow PACP inspection is specifically called out in our workflow because it is how real utilities actually operate.

What do we receive after a CCTV inspection?

Every engagement produces: (1) MPEG-4 video with PACP overlay of distance, defect codes, and grades; (2) a PACP-compliant defect report with still images, footages, and severity grades; (3) an executive condition summary ranking lines by structural and O&M severity; and (4) source files compatible with GraniteNet, WinCan, and ITpipes for ingest into asset-management systems.

How quickly can reports be delivered after fieldwork?

Standard deliverables land within 5–10 business days of field completion, depending on project size and report complexity. Time-critical programs (emergency condition surveys, pre-bid inspections, grant reporting deadlines) are prioritized and flagged at scoping so the report chain matches the project calendar. We do not release PACP reports until the QA pass is complete — partial or draft delivery creates more downstream work for the utility than a firm delivery date.

Do you integrate inspection data with GIS or asset-management platforms?

Yes. We deliver GraniteNet, WinCan, and ITpipes-compatible exports by default, and we cross-reference observations to utility-supplied GIS asset IDs when provided. Many of our clients pull our deliverables straight into Cityworks, Lucity, or their own asset register without any manual re-keying. We treat that integration path as a first-class deliverable, not a bolt-on.
